Jennie is a content developer and storyteller who integrates writing, photography, and soul care.
Originally from Miami, Jennie holds a Bachelor’s degree in English, Religious Studies, and Film from Florida International University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.
Professionally, Jennie has worked in communications developing original content for various mission-centered organizations, specializing in storytelling. As a mental health counselor, Jennie’s work centered around providing soul care to individuals suffering from relational trauma, chronic illness, and those burdened by unwanted sexual struggles.
10+ years of physical suffering taught her a great deal about humility and the beauty in asking people for help. Her experiences led her to study the inherent dignity in every person and she is often captivated by the uniqueness of individuals. Jennie is passionate about helping people see and embrace the glory that is already within them, whether that’s through her writing, photography, or simply reflecting back to them what she sees.
Jennie’s mission is to invite people to take hold of their dignity, and she hopes to build a community of talented artists known as the Greyv Gardens Artisans who create content that highlights creation as designed with a purpose.
She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Spiritual Formation and Relational Neuroscience at Western Theological Seminary to explore the connection between spiritual health and creative expression in communities.
